The sounds of the seagull and this warm summer buzz,
The waves of the sea bring this white foamy fuzz.

The sweet endless melody stuck  in my head,
Its tone and its softness are driving me mad.

I’m thinking of the moment I now relive,
This heaven on earth that can be so brief.

My eyes are so willing to save what they see,
I’ve never imagined we can be so free.

This summer was granted by forces above,
They gave me desire to love and be loved.

That paradise island had lifted my soul,
It brought all the pieces together as whole.

The flavors of ice-cream, the music so loud,
I felt so secure even surrounded by a crowd.

I know that this moment will nevertheless stay
As long as I keep hearing this music play.
